In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar for 5 minutes.
Add the flour and the salt in another bowl, then pour the egg mixture in and stir.
Add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Stir.
Let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven at 460ºF.
Grease the madeleines molds.
Add the baking powder into the cold mixture and stir.
Fill in the madeleines molds at 3/4th of the heights.
Bake for 7 minutes.
