Pound Cake
Today I decided to bake a pound cake. It is the traditional French "Quatre Quart". It is a very easy and quick dessert to do.
Equipment
- bowl
- hand mixer
Ingredients
- 18 tbsp softened butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 350ºF.
- Mix the sugar and the butter.
- Add the eggs one by one and whisk in between.
- Add the flour and baking powder and mix.
- Grease the pan.
- Bake for 55 minutes.
