Cannelés
Cannelés are French pastries that are very tasty.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 2 yolks
- 2 whole eggs
- Vanilla extract
- 2/3 cups flour
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
The First Day
- Boil the milk and the butter.
- Whisk the flour, the sugar, the eggs, and the vanilla extract.
- Add the milk and butter mixture into the flour, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract mixture.
- Place in the fridge for 24-48 hours
The Second Day
- Remove from the fridge one hour before baking.
- Preheat the oven at 520º F.
- Pour the mixture into molds, at about 3/4 of the height.
- Bake for 5 minutes at 520º F, then bake for 45 minutes at 350º F.
- Remove the cannelés from the molds while they are still hot.
- Enjoy!
